Adams, Sandra Schwab
Sandy is a Parent as Teachers educator in Northeastern Missouri. She is available for workshops and training in North and Central Missouri.
Ida specializes in training and development in parent involvement and support for parents, school support staff, teachers, and administrators. She is also involved in the planning and implementation of strategies for parental involvement.
Alison works with 4-H youth development programs. She has a background in child development and parent involvement and works in Mid-Missouri.
Davis, Nancy, Ph.D.
Nancy is a former PPP staff member and early childhood administrator. Her areas of expertise include parenting education birth through grade 12, educational administration, quality in education and human development.
Kathy is a University of Missouri Extension Human Development Specialist headquartered in Osage County and specializing in human development and family studies. Kathy is available both in and out of Missouri.
Dowdy, Marci, Ph.D.
Marci is an instructor at Missouri State University. She has been in education over 20 years and has served as elementary counselor, middle and high school counselor, administrator, and parent educator.
Ehlers, Vicki Lynn, CFLE
Vicki serves as the PPP state coordinator for Oklahoma, but is also available for training and workshops in any location. Her areas of expertise include early childhood education, family resource programs, elementary education and information.
Barb became a trainer for PPP in 2002. She retired in June of 2008 after teaching in the public school system for 30 years. She is available for staff, parent and family training and consulting throughout the Midwest.
Chrysta is a Family Liaison/Social Worker for the Willard R-II School District.
Herde, Mary Jo, Ph.D.
An early childhood and family life consultant who specializes in early childhood education, parent involvement, and the emotional development of the young child. She provides workshops for groups and agencies in Missouri.
Rosalee is the St. Louis area coordinator for PPP. She has experience in staff development, parent education, literacy development, school improvement plans, and teaching reading. Rosalee works in St. Louis City and County.
Tim works as a parent educator and as a school counselor. He is also a school psychological examiner, PPP Trainer, and a workshop facilitator, focusing on a variety of school/family topics including anger management, emotional intelligence.
Karen is a classroom teacher, and former family involvement coordinator in a large district. Her focus areas are parent involvement and school age childcare. She is available for workshops in the greater Kansas City area and Northwest.
Shelly is an active educator and mother of two daughters. In addition to her development of materials and facilitating workshops, she currently tutors elementary and high school students and volunteers in her daughters school.
Christi is a Mississippi State PPP Trainer.
Meyer, Jim, Ph.D.
Jim is the Assistant Professor at Missouri State University. His areas of expertise include communication, family dynamics, parenting, conflict management, resource (time, stress, and financial) management, building family strengths, issues.
Greta has been a counselor and teacher for all grade levels during the past 31 years. She is available for workshops for parents and teachers.
A school social worker, Francine works with resistant families and with at risk families. This includes identifying child abuse and neglect in the school setting and helping the juvenile officer succeed in the school.
Patterson, Darcel Y.
Darcelâ€™s areas of expertise include life skills development for elementary and middle students and parent education. She is the co-author of a book on single parenting. Darcel is available in the greater Atlanta GA area.
Annette is a retired classroom teacher and PAT parent educator. Her specialties include reading with young children as well as working with parents of children birth through school age. She likes to travel.
Katie is currently a counselor at the Washington School District. She can present in English and Spanish.
A retired public school administrator, Rich has experience with Safe Schools, drug prevention, character education, alternative schools, at-risk programs and migrant education. He is also provides workshops on leadership development.
Saurage, Judy, M.Ed., L.P.C.
Judy is currently employed at Washington University’s Department of Psychiatry in the study of children’s emotional development. In addition to this research position, Judy serves as a Mental Health Consultant to several Head.
Art works as a University of Missouri Extension Human Development Specialist headquartered in the central part of the state. Other areas of concentration are family studies, technology, and children. Art is available in Boone, Cooper, Howard.
Shepard Rock, Katie
Katie Shepard Rock is a Title I Reading Teacher at Boys and Girls Town of Missouri and a former School Age Care Coordinator for Campfire USA, Alaska Council. Katie is available to facilitate PPP for After School and other parent.
Shepard, Janet, CFLE
Janet serves as the PPP Director and participates in many of the training sessions offered at the PPP Center, on-site, and in regional locations. Please contact Janet with any questions about training or to schedule training for your school.
Kathy is a Parents As Teachers educator. Early childhood/neuroscience foundation, home visiting, facilitation, and parent involvement in rural areas are her areas of expertise.

Shirley teaches at the middle school level at Pine Bluff AR She has worked with Upward Bound and Parents as Teachers. She also serves families as a Parent Educator. She is available to work with all Schools in Arkansas
